| The Peacemaker was fitted with a 60HP shot of N2O, one nozzle at each throttlebody. We opted to only go with a 60HP shot to keep things reasonable. Here are some of the final runs of the car: Blue run: 28psi, racefuel, no N2O Purple run: 28psi, racefuel, 60HP Spoolup N2O Red run: 28psi, racefuel, 60HP full spectrum N2O The wonder of spoolup N20: Look at the 5300RPM torque - it is 200ft/lbs++ greater with only a 60HP shot and power and torque is coming on a full 1000RPM earlier.
This is a comparison between a healthy stock turbo equipped Z producing 412RWHP and The Peacemaker: Obviously the blue curves are the peacemaker without the N2O spoolup, but all of the other curves are closely matched with a range of 150-500RPM difference between stock turbos and The Peacemaker's 2835's, just depending on where you are looking. A better comparison may be the 2530's in this case -
Here's something to consider as well: The values you see here for The Peacemaker are obviously double that of the strongest stock turbo equipped Z and many may say that this car is nothing more than just a 'dyno queen'. The magnitiude of the peak values certainly depict 'dyno queen' mentality as that kind of power is very difficult to contain on a 1320' track and they are purely 'high horsepower figures', unarguably usable in a dyno shootout and arguably usable anywhere else. However, this same car ran a 130MPH pass on pump fuel and street tires at 25psi of boost, no N2O - figures that just about anyone with a street car dreams of - a low 12 second (with definate 11s potential with a skilled driver) all on pump fuel and street tires. It is my own personal opinion that this car is far more than just a dyno queen in this respect. Then if you add in the 60HP shot of N2O to get her spooled and pulling, perhaps even mid 11's at ~135MPH could be attainable still on street tires - its that darn 60' time.. But we never got the opportunity to try a set of slicks and N2O and race fuel so I'm sure there is good potential for shaving considerable time off those ETs and adding more MPH to it...... just my $.02 on it.. I'm sure Gary will get her to the track in good time and let us see what she can really do. =)
